EDA Western District 2022 “Power of Golf Fore Charity” Event Hosted by ERTH Raises Over $35,000 for Sakura House

Welcome sign at Power of Golf Fore Charity Golf TournamentWOODSTOCK, ON – On November 10, 2021, ERTH Corporation proudly presented a donation for more than $35,000 to VON Sakura House in Oxford County.

The funds were raised through the EDA Western District’s annual “Power of Golf Fore Charity” golf tournament, which ERTH hosted on September 16, 2021 at the Ingersoll Golf & Country Club. Each year, the host organization selects a different charity in their community to support. This year, ERTH selected VON Sakura House in Oxford County. The donation will greatly support VON Sakura House with added expenses incurred during the pandemic.

Sakura House, located in Woodstock Ontario, is Oxford County’s only residential hospice and is operated by the Victorian Order of Nurses, Oxford Branch (VON Oxford). It is a palliative care facility where 24 hour end-of-life care is provided by a skilled team of healthcare professionals with the assistance of professionally trained volunteers at no cost to patients or their families.
