ERTH Annual Charity Golf Tournament Raises $27,000 for Hospice of Elgin

Ingersoll, ON (June 16, 2025) — ERTH Corporation is pleased to announce that its annual charity golf tournament, held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Ingersoll Golf Club, raised $27,000 in support of Hospice of Elgin. This year’s tournament continues ERTH’s 17-year tradition of bringing together utilities, suppliers, and partners for a day of networking, fun, and most importantly, supporting a meaningful cause.

Since its inception, ERTH’s annual golf tournament has raised more than $200,000 for various charitable organizations including Operation Sharing, the Canadian Mental Health Association, Sakura House, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, the Canadian Breast Cancer Society, and Epilepsy Canada.

This year, ERTH is honoured to support Hospice of Elgin, the first facility of its kind in Elgin County, which is set to open this summer. The hospice will provide compassionate care to individuals and their families during end-of-life in a peaceful, cottage-like setting designed to feel like home.

Hospice of Elgin will provide wrap around care to individuals and their families at end-of-life in a welcoming ‘cottage-like’ setting. Hospice is about comfort, quality of life and care, and includes addressing pain and symptoms, while also supporting the psycho-social, spiritual, and practical needs of the individual. Doors are set to open in Summer 2025.
