2026 Training Schedule and Registration

Sync Ops 

Location: Westin Trillium House
Date: Wednesday, September 23
Time: 1pm -4:30pm
Target Audience: People that are new to the role or needing a refresher.

Join us for a compressed version of our Sync Ops session tailored for those new to the role or as a refresher for existing team members. We’ll delve into understanding parameters and relationships within Northstar, learn how to make and interpret adjustments in sync files, and tackle resolving sync issues—including how to crush records. Additionally, we’ll explore options like the MDMR CIS Extract. We’ll examine the LDC Action Items report to enhance your understanding of the overall health of your utility’s synchronizations with the MDMR.

This session will be held prior to the kick off of our ERTH Connect 2026 event. Space is limited.

Retailer Setups and EBT Processing

Target Audience: Newer users or those seeking a refresher.

Join us for an informative session on EBT Processing & Retailer Setups, tailored for those new to the role but experienced in the industry and familiar with Northstar. We’ll demystify each transaction type, explore Contest Periods, and guide you through handling Pending Transactions and the necessary steps to take. Additionally, we’ll address how to resolve IBR Rejects, interpret Status Advices, prevent unwanted transactions from exporting, and outline the required steps for setting up new retailers.

Intro to Cashiering

Target Audience: People that are looking to expand their knowledge.

Intro to Cashiering is a comprehensive course that covers the essential aspects of managing financial transactions within Northstar; including cash batches, Pre-Authorized Payments, Lock Box Files, Credit Card Processing, Equal Payment Plans, Deposits, NSF/Returned Payments and more.

The topics covered are designed to provide practical insights and hands-on experience in these key areas of cashiering. Users with prior Northstar experience would be considered an asset, but is not a prerequisite. This course will expand on attendees existing knowledge while exploring industry best practices.

Intro to Billing
