Many businesses use tools such as Microsoft Excel for creating their estimates and quotes, and why not! Most computers have Excel installed and by and large, everyone knows how to use it. You can use formulas, text, images and really dress things up. If you are particularly savvy with Excel you can lock down certain cells, force users to input certain fields, and create nice reports and quotes for your prospective customers. However, there are some pitfalls that you need to watch out for.
